Recycled PET insulation engineered for thermal and acoustic performance.
MDG is advancing engineered fibrous aerogel insulation made from recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate). Specialized processing transforms recycled PET fibers into a lightweight, highly porous insulation structure with strong thermal resistance and sound absorption. Developed with material science and manufacturing partners, the product is already manufactured at commercial scale.
Produced in flexible mat and semi-rigid board formats, the insulation is being developed for building-envelope, mechanical, OEM and industrial applications. With manufacturing capability established, MDG and its partners are advancing product testing, application-specific technical acceptance and commercialization in North America and selected international markets.
